As the mobile Physiotherapy service for the Northern Beaches area, Active Flow Physio provides quality service for each of our customers. Based on evidence-based treatments, and thanks to our experienced therapists, we are able to provide a tailored-to-you rehabilitation program.
From strengthening to reconditioning, balance training, and more – we are devoted to helping our patients maintain their independence and stay in their own homes, retirement villages or aged care facilities. We are also able to provide our services for NDIS clients under their funding for Home Visit Physiotherapy benefits.
Through both preventative and intervention measures, we specialise in elderly care rehabilitation. In order to help neutralise the negative effects that ageing has on the body, we at Active Flow Physio focus on a wholesome approach to restoring strength, mobility, and flexibility.
We Come to You
For your comfort and convenience, we offer our mobile services in the privacy of your own home, retirement village, or aged care facility.
NDIS
Whether self-managed or NDIS plan-managed, we are able to assist in your rehabilitation. For NDIS clients, we can provide home visit Physiotherapy sessions under “improved daily living” funding.
Home Care Packages
If you are on a Level 3 or 4 package your home physio sessions can be provided through your budget with no out of pocket expenses. We work closely with your Package Provider to provide you with the level of care that you are entitled to.
DVA
GP referrals are required every 3 months, and the DVA covers in-home physio costs for either Gold or White Card Holders.
Chronic Disease Management Plan
Also known as Enhanced Primary Care Program, your GP referrals entitle you to a Medicare rebate for 5 Allied Health Services every calendar year.
Private Health Insurance
Should you be the owner of a private health insurance plan, you may be entitled to physiotherapy rebates.
Reconditioning
Use it or lose it, we will help motivate you to keep you moving!
Orthopaedic Rehabilitation
We will guide you through your Surgeon's protocols after Total Knee / Hip / Shoulder replacement and Spinal surgery.
Neurological Rehabilitation
Experience in rehabilitation post stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Motor Neuron Disease, Multiple sclerosis.
Vestibular Rehabilitation
Assessment and treatment of basic BPPV through Dix Hallpike and Epleys Maneuver.
Chest
Physiotherapy
Sputum clearance and cardio-respiratory reconditioning.
Plaster Care & Fracture Management
Able to provide plaster care under the guidance of your Orthopod. Post fracture rehabilitation management.
